UK - Scotland - Neist Point Lighthouse at the far north-west of Isle of Skye
On the far north-west of the island is a place called Neist Point. It's known for its lighthouse which sits perched on the edge of a cliff. The walk to get to the lighthouse is about a mile long and you need to walk down steps built next to a cliff along the way. Neist Point is the most westerly point on Skye. This spectacular headland is a good place for bird and whale-watchers.
To get to this classic view of the lighthouse beyond the cliffs, you need to go along a boggy path northwest from the car park for about half a kilometer. This is one of the best places imaginable for watching the sunset, unfortunately timing didn't allow me to stay that late to see the sunset here, maybe next time. I have at least used 151sec exposure to make the ocean as smooth as possible.
